In 2018, entrepreneur Tre James noticed a lack of affordable rental homes and rental rates outpacing income growth in his hometown of Atlanta, GA. From then, a new beginning was formed with Genesis Residential, the premise of the business stemming from the problems Tre noticed in his own backyard. Since its creation, Genesis Residential has transformed into a residential, real estate investment company with an emphasis on affordable housing in urban markets. With current properties in St. Louis, Memphis, Atlanta and Macon, GA, Genesis seeks to build communities by offering well-kept properties at affordable rates to those who need them most, along with providing economic and financial literacy resources to assist our residents in further investing in their communities.
